We're pleased to announce the Gunboat 72 will be on display in Port Canto Sailing Area of the 2023 Cannes Yachting Festival!

The first catamaran with Gunboat performance and a flybridge, the 72 design begins squarely with the cruising aficionado in mind. With the advancement of build technology and engineering, we're pushing the boundaries further than ever before. On the cruising side of the spectrum, the Gunboat 72 features a flybridge helm station and sail handling, with push button controls and autopilot support at the bridgedeck level. The spacious interior caters to the desires of the owner's cruising lifestyle.

Elevated sailing

The all-star design and engineering collaboration of Gunboat, VPLP Design, Christophe Chedal Anglay, Patrick le Quément, and Isabelle Racoupeau-Ramirez contribute the shared experience that is intrinsic to the Gunboat 72, with the principles introduced through the Gunboat 68 series, and the conviviality of family cruising adventures.

"VPLP's precise engineering and Gunboat's build quality came together to master the weight and balance of the Gunboat 72, key factors to achieve performance in terms of speed and excellent sea keeping." - Marc Van Peteghem - VPLP Design.

"In keeping with Gunboat DNA, I searched for a refreshingly luxe interior for the Gunboat 72 that was dynamic, bright and inviting by adding softness with the shapes of the furniture and contrast of the materials. The interior respects her dual personality, sporty and luxurious, all with a sense of lightness of course." - Isabelle Racoupeau-Ramirez - Berret-Racoupeau Yacht Design.

The Gunboat 72 interior offers various layouts, designed for the lifestyle of the owners. Gunboat 72.01 Wonderful features a VIP cabin, 3 guest cabins, and separate crew quarters.
