As the Boat Show season in Sydney approaches, Windcraft is pleased to be able to announce the largest selection of award winning Cruising Yachts on display this year at the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia (CYCA) in Rushcutters Bay, Sydney.

The Windcraft Cruising Expo 2023 will welcome club members and boating enthusiasts from 9am Friday 4th of August through until l2noon Sunday 6th of August. The CYCA's "Pond" berthing area in front of the Club's Cafe 44 bar and restaurant will be the highly appropriate venue to showcase our six acclaimed European brands, encompassing the Hanse, Dehler, Moody and Solaris sailing ranges, as well as the iconic Fjord luxury day boat marque and the new highly versatile award-winning RYCK adventure sports boat.

This event will include the Australian premiere of the award winning Moody 41 Deck Saloon providing single-level living space from the cockpit connecting to the panoramic saloon with 360 degree views. The Moody Deck Saloon brings together concepts from luxury motor yachts and catamarans into a monohull sailing yacht that is very unique in our industry. It is easily sailed by one or two people and the ideal yacht for extended coastal cruising.

Also on display will be a new Dehler 42 recently arrived into Sydney along with a new Solaris 47 from the Italian shipyard who are renown for exceptionally high quality performance cruising yachts.

One of Hanse Yachts most popular models - the Hanse 418 will also be presented which is being offered as a brand new new Yacht Share syndicate (quarter shares) managed by Windcraft.

Due to shipping delays, the newest Hanse 460 and Hanse 510 models won't be arriving into Sydney until September so we will be arranging a separate showcase for these new yachts in Sydney later this year. Due to the popularity of this model we now only have 3 remaining Hanse 460's available for 2024 delivery.

Dan Jones, known to many from Dan's Boat Life YouTube Channel will also be making a guest appearance at this event on Friday to assist with the Australian premiere of the new Fjord 41XL luxury day boat and also the award winning RYCK 280 adventure sports boat (both from the Hanse Yachts family). Dan has recently completed a review of the Ryck 280 which is not available to the public until next week but you can get a first viewing of the video here. Nobody has test driven more family sports cruisers than Dan Jones recently, so come and tap his extensive experience on this rapidly growing segment of the market.

Anthony Bishop, Windcraft's owner and MD, will be on-hand with our team of sales and service specialists to share our collective experience with those interested in learning more about cruising the magnificent east coast of Australia and beyond. We have an Owners Rally scheduled early November from Pittwater and more in the pipeline for 2024.

Explaining the change in format for this years boat show event, Anthony commented "We have a lineup of luxury cruising yachts that are all award winning models in their respective categories and we want to present them in a relaxed setting that allows our team to provide an exclusive and personalised viewing experience. We are looking to continually improve the experience these events provide based on feedback from those who are genuinely looking for the advice and expertise that our team has to offer."
