RS Aero UK Southern Championships at Warsash Sailing Club

28 RS Aeros turned out to a blustery RS Aero UK Southern Champs at Warsash on the river Hamble to race on the central Solent.
The winds gusted well into the mid 20s for the three races on Saturday providing plenty of excitement. Sunday was a little more gentle with frequent wind shifts opening up ample racing opportunities.
Congratulations to the winners - Sam Blaker (Thorpe Bay) in the RS Aero 5s, Spike Daniels (Hayling) in the RS Aero 6s and Peter Barton (Lymington Town) in the RS Aero 7s.
Thanks to Warsash Sailing Club for hosting an excellent weekend’s racing and to Selden and Kingfisher Ropes for their support.
