Three races were completed on the final day of the 2023 ILCA 6 Youth & Men's World Championships, hosted by the Gdmina Dziwonow. It was an even lighter day of sailing than day 5, with a north-to-northeasterly breeze of 5-7 knots.

Italy's Mattia Cesana became a three-time ILCA 6 Youth World Champion today, winning the youth men's division by 28 points. Ukrainian Dima Karabadzhak, a new name on the leaderboard, won two of today's races and rose to claim silver. Hidde Schraffordt of The Netherlands was in the top three all week and managed to close out the championship with a bronze medal.

In addition to Cesana's gold medal, team Italy claimed gold and silver in the youth women's division. Emma Mattivi was also in the top three all week, and after a very consistent final day of only top-10 finishes, she was named 2023 ILCA 6 Youth World Champion. Ginevra Caracciolo won silver, just 14 points behind Mattivi. Roos Wind of The Netherlands rounded out the podium in third, which proved a strong performance from the Dutch team as well at this championship.

In the men's division, the racing was very competitive as there was only a three-point difference between first and third place. George Lane of New Zealand scored only top-five finishes over the course of the event, and that consistency secured him the title of 2023 ILCA 6 Men's World Champion. Montenegro's Nikola Golubovic finished just two points behind to claim silver, and Great Britain's Jon Emmett won bronze, only one point behind Golubovic.

Organizing partners are the Municipality of Dziwnow in conjunction with the Sailing Club Baltic Dziwnow and the ILCA.
