British Marine are pleased to announce they will once again be hosting their popular Women in Marine (WIM) events at the Southampton International Boat Show (SIBS) 2023.

Riding on the coat tails of last year's spectacular women's SIBS agenda where an array of new presentations including a mental health and wellbeing session were introduced, this year there will be more events aimed at inspiring and encouraging future industry aspirations happening throughout the show. This will culminate with the traditional Women in Marine Drinks and Nibbles Networking event, which features a panel discussion from peers in the trade industry on Thursday 21 September from 16.00 -18.00 (registration will be available soon, so save this date!).

The dates and times of the other WIM events are currently being confirmed so watch this space for the announcement of the full programme of events, coming soon.

Lesley Robinson, CEO, British Marine commented: "We are delighted to be supporting a variety of Women in Marine events at the Southampton International Boat Show 2023. We hope that by regularly holding more events like this we can all work together to ensure that the marine industry is more inclusive and diverse, ensuring that a person's sex, age, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, or religion is not a barrier to working in the sector."

If you are interested in supporting the Women in Marine events, there are multiple sponsorship packages available. Please contact Lyndsay McClay at
