Just one month remains until SailGP, the world's most exciting racing on water, makes its first-ever stop in Los Angeles on July 22 - 23, 2023. Tickets for the inaugural Oracle Los Angeles Sail Grand Prix at the Port of Los Angeles are on sale now.

The Port of Los Angeles provides the ideal host location for the adrenaline-fueled sailing event, providing spectator-friendly racing. Lucky fans will see the action up close and personal, lining the shores and enjoying prime viewing areas within the ticketed zones, with live commentary to complement the on-water action.

SailGP's 10 teams representing countries around the world— including the United States SailGP Team led by sailing legend Jimmy Spithill — will race F50s, 50-foot hydrofoiling catamarans capable of highway speeds exceeding 60 mph, in a fan-focused, two-day spectacle. After a tough Season 3 campaign, the American team is out for redemption.

"We are really looking forward to LA," said Spithill. "It's a completely new venue for the league - but both LA and Long Beach are renowned for their incredible sea breeze during the summer months. We have a lot we plan to improve on as a team and can't wait to get racing."

The unique Outer Harbor racecourse offers exceptional viewing opportunities, with ticket packages available for grandstand seating at Berth 46, along with on-water viewing zones for privately-owned vessels. For more information on all of the ticketing categories head to www.SailGP.com/LosAngeles.

After a successful season opening event at the Rolex United States Sail Grand Prix in Chicago earlier this month, the City of Angels is SailGP's second stop on a 12-race global championship spanning four continents from June 2023 - July 2024. Alongside LA, the global sailing league also announced its return to New York City later this season as part of an expanded Season 4 schedule.
