The first Gunboat 80 has launched from our factory in La Grande-Motte, France!

80.01 is optimized for racing. Some of the key performance and weight saving features include a full prepreg structure, very long asymmetrical daggerboards, a performance hydraulic package, and lightweight aircraft furniture. We're proud of our team and grateful for the collaboration of our excellent partners and suppliers contributing to this exciting yacht - launched in just under 2 years.

Onlookers witnessed the gentle splash of an incredibly lightweight, high-performance 80 footer. On the dock, Loïck Peyron and Benoit Lebizay engage in bar karate, dreaming about the official debut of Gunboat 80 Highland Fling 18 at Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup, YCCS in Porto Cervo this September - the first edition of Maxi Worlds to include a multihull division!

The Gunboat 80 is offered with box rule customizability and development in mind, for the ultimate sailing experience with no compromise. While 80.01 is off to the races, 80.02 is not far behind, set to launch summer 2024 and custom built for family cruising. Remarkably the structure of both is the same, engineered for potential future max displacement, and ready to be the weapon of your choice.
