V Racing wins on first outing at Giorgio Armani Superyacht Regatta

Our WallyCento 'V' won the combined Performance and Cruising Class Giorgio Armani Superyacht Regatta in the stunning surroundings of the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda in Porto Cervo, rewarding the new owners first opportunity to sail his new yacht with a remarkable result.

Ben Bartlett, the owner's representative on V: "We've had a fantastic week with excellent weather conditions, our main focus was on building a new team and looking ahead to the next events this year. The win was an unexpected bonus."

Led by North Sails President Ken Read the team worked together to get the best from the stylish 100'er. Pierluigi De Felice, trimmer on V explained: "We were able to push the boat to its best, the performance is impressive, especially on reaches, we are all very satisfied, especially the owner as this is his first regatta."
