Middle Harbour Yacht Club hosted a day filled with competitive spirit and camaraderie as the MC38 Season's Act 4 regatta took place today.

The one-day event gathered six teams of sailors who navigated tricky conditions out in the sound, with Infotrack ultimately emerging as overall champions taking home two bullets.

Under picturesque blue skies and light, shifty weather conditions, the MC38 fleet were presented the first act in their winter sailing series. Following a streamlined approach, Act 4 of the MC38 Season was amended to a one-day regatta.

The schedule included back-to-back races and the competition spirited throughout the day with courses being positioned first towards Rose Bay from the sound, and then adapted to be from the Sound out to North head.

Tacticians put to the test, the day was more about skill and strategy then speed, making each decision paramount in determining where teams sat on the leaderboard.

Infotrack stood out with their consistent performance and strategic moves. Led by their skipper Indy Beck, the crew demonstrated quick decision-making and adaptability which were key to capitalise on the ever-changing wind patterns and gain an advantage.

As the sun set on Middle Harbour Yacht Club, the day's sailing festivities highlighted the vibrant nature of the MC38 class and the camaraderie shared among sailors.
