The 19 entries came for an awesome 2nd RS Aero US Women's Nationals weekend, hosted by Viridian Sailing Center over Memorial Day weekend.

Competitors raced in the RS Aero 5 & 7 fleets with eleven 7s and eight 5s. They travelled extensively to join this popular event in its second season and included visitors from Australia and every corner of America to include Connecticut, New York, Washington, Oregon, Florida and Alabama to join the Texans.

The 30 strong charter fleet at Viridian Sailing Center presents a wonderful facility to host such an event. As ever, the temps were HOT at Viridian Sailing Center in Dallas, Texas, and with the breeze blowing nicely the best place to be was on the water!

The Race Committee and club volunteers were able to arrange nine races for the regatta, which was a challenge given the extra shifty winds that weekend! CiCi Griff and Magdalena Chavez once again did a fantastic job coordinating the event to provide cool swag, tasteful snacks and meals, as well as a Hawaiian dinner with silent auction.

The Race Officer Jason Adams commented; 'Thank you to the ladies of the RS Aero Class for allowing me to PRO your regatta. This is a fantastic group of women and I have been honored to have been a part of this regatta the last two years. Look forward to seeing the RS Aero US Women's National Championship continue for many years. I am always available to assist if needed. Congratulations to all of the winners!'

Congratulations to the 2023 Champions Emily Wagner in the RS Aero 7 and Christine Barbour in the RS Aero 5 for defending her title from 2022!
