BSDRA Thames Valley Championship at Datchet Water Sailing Club

Eton College hosted the BSDRA Thames Valley Championship on Saturday June 10th at Datchet Water Sailing Club in almost perfect weather. The easterly breeze was variable in both strength and direction but the temperature was perfect and the sun shone.

Round one consisted of 80 races under the HLS system with Sevenoaks emerging with a 100% winning record, followed by Winchester, Wellington and RGS 1 on 90%. Stage two was knock outs and saw Winchester and Wellington taking the first semi final to three races with Winchester emerging the winners and going through to the final. Sevenoaks beat RGS 2:0 in the second semi-final.

Both Peti-final and Final went 2:0 with RGS beating Wellington to finish third, while Winchester came second to the Sevenoaks team of Martin Atilla (Capt) & Odette Mead, Mac Raymond & Carolyn Zhang, and Rosie Heydorn & Allegra Fleming.
