MDL Marinas is delighted to announce it is sponsoring the 2023 J-Cup Regatta, supporting its Hamble Point Marina tenant and regatta host, Key Yachting.

Taking place from the Royal Southern Yacht Club in Hamble 15 - 17 June, this annual regatta is organised exclusively for yachts from the J/Boats brand and comprises three days of exciting and competitive racing. All J/Boats models are invited to compete, and over 60 boats and 300 sailors are expected to take part at this year's event, bringing high-octane on-water action to the Solent.

As part of its support for this popular event, MDL Marinas will be contributing to the lively shoreside celebrations with enough cases of its 50th Anniversary Nauti Buoy IPA for every sailor to enjoy a post-race brew.

"We're excited to have the support of MDL for this year's J-Cup Regatta," says Bill Stringer, Key Yachting's Commercial Director. "We've worked with MDL for many years at several of its marinas around the country, and of course at our base in Hamble Point Marina so it's fantastic to have its support for our world class fleet of J/Boats.

"Racing and regattas like the J-Cup are only possible with the generous support of our sponsors, so we'd like to say a big thank you to MDL and we can't wait to sample its new Nauti Buoy IPA at the event."

Tim Mayer, MDL's Sales and Marketing Director, comments: "The J-Cup is designed to be an inclusive event to celebrate everything J/Boats and the J/Boats community. We're delighted to sponsor the regatta, offering sailors of all abilities an opportunity to get out on the water and enjoy the sport they're so passionate about, as well as support the team at Key Yachting who are an integral part of our marina community."

The J-Cup's packed racing programme is coupled with daily prize-givings and shoreside entertainment, culminating in a post-regatta party and sit down dinner on Saturday 17 June.

MDL Marinas is celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year. For more information on its 18 UK waterside destinations, premium berthing, boatyard services, holiday parks and eco gyms visit www.mdlmarinas.co.uk.
