Round 3 of the TridentUK Northern Tour moved to Costa Del Filey over the weekend of 20th-21st May. The fleet were greeted with blue sky and sunshine and a zephyr of wind.

Day 1 was a light affair sailed in a flooding tide with plenty of shifts to be had to make gains up the racecourse.

Ollie Groves & Esther Parkhurst sailed a perfect scorecard with 2 1st's followed by Chris Pickles & Matt Sharman and Martin Penty & crew both picking up a second and a third.

Day 2 started in a touch more breeze which built as the day went on.

Chris & Matt managed to take a win off Ollie & Esther in race 3, followed by the ever-consistent Martin Penty and Gary Knott & Chloe Willars in third.

Normal service was resumed for races 4 and 5, as Ollie and Esther chalked up two more wins to win the event, followed by Pickles & Sharman in second on countback from Martin Penty.

The TridentUK raffle vouchers were won by Ben Williamson, Gary Knott and Ollie Groves.

Next up on the tour is Tynemouth on 17th/18th June with a good fleet expected.
