VETUS-Maxwell to showcase benefits of its Bow Pro Thrusters in new connected joystick solution

VETUS-Maxwell is showcasing the high performance of its unique BOW PRO thruster range within a new integrated outboard joystick solution at this year's Sanctuary Cove Show.

System innovator VETUS-Maxwell is facilitating the advanced connected technology by collaborating with a growing number of partners to offer joystick systems in combination with single or multiple BOW PRO thrusters, enabling stress-free docking and precision control.

One of its key partnerships is with Yamaha, who will be offering visitors at Sanctuary Cove the opportunity to book a sea trial to test the integrated VETUS BOW PRO / Yamaha Helm Master® EX control system on a Cruise Craft demo boat.

This latest partnership offers a single intuitive joystick that easily controls engine power and puts the boat effortlessly where you want it, improving the slow speed authority and ease of berthing, increasing safety and vessel usability. The solution is perfect for larger boats requiring additional control, enhancing lateral movement and pivoting by automatically engaging the bow thruster in variable speed to match operator input.

Helm Master EX enhanced with a VETUS BOW PRO enables affordable Dynamic Positioning without hydraulics, to all manners of boating enthusiasts, and not just commercial operators."

VETUS also collaborates with Mercury Marine® to enable the integration of BOW PRO thrusters with Mercury Joystick Piloting for Outboards (JPO) and has already connected its thrusters to YANMAR's joystick control system for shaft drive inboard powerboat applications.

On Booth 101-103 at Sanctuary Cove, the VETUS-Maxwell team will be on hand to explain the benefits of the BOW PRO thruster range. These proportional thrusters with brushless AC motors and an unlimited runtime offers customers intuitive, precision control and the potential for intensive use with no possibility of overheating issues which can affect conventional thrusters.

Demonstrating the full range of its complete system capabilities, VETUS-Maxwell will also display a range of Maxwell Anchoring products and its latest electric propulsion solutions, including the water-cooled VETUS E-LINE.

The compact and efficient 48V E-LINE range enables silent, environmentally friendly cruising with exceptional manoeuvring capabilities, with full control enabled by VETUS's Active Electronic Braking. Available in three models with output power of 5 kW to 10 kW, the system packages are ideal as standard shaft-driven in-board diesel engine replacements for re-power projects and for new builds.

VETUS-Maxwell's presence at the show is further enhanced by the adjacent display of sister brand Smartgyro on Booth 104. Offering significant performance, efficiency, installation and maintenance benefits for boat owners, vessel operators and boatbuilders, the Smartgyro range of gyro stabilizers consists of the SG20, SG40, SG60, SG80, SG120 and SG150 bringing boat stabilization for vessels from 30ft to more than 80ft.
