The 2023 edition of the Swiss J/70 Youth Cup took place this past weekend on Lake Geneva, off Vevey-La Tour. Hosting the event for the eleven teams from all four points of the compass in Switzerland was Cercle de la Voile Vevey-La Tour.

The two-day regatta experienced gorgeous, even spectacular, warm weather and clear blue skies. However, the massive High-pressure system parked over Europe didn't produce the expected winds. As a result, just three races were completed over two days for the youth teams.

Winning the regatta on a tiebreaker at 7 pts each was the Segelclub Stafa team of Simon Kaiser, Niklas Kaiser, Carlos Biber, and Nicoloas Kubat. Losing that countback to take the silver was the team of Association Centre d'Entrainement a la Regate, which consisted of Alexis Pariat, Marius Lanz, Guillaume Witschi, and Edoudard Stocker. The third step on the podium to take the bronze medal was the Regattaclub Oberhofen team of Cedric Schenk, Till Seger, Yanic Frei, and Nicolas Wyss.
