The BVI Spring Regatta and Sailing Festival has come a long way since its humble beginnings in 1972 as a local island regatta hosting 20-foot Squibs, to an international sailing event drawing the best in international yacht racers who come with their crews, families, and friends to the spectacular waters of the British Virgin Islands.
Now one of the largest single events on the BVI calendar, teams celebrated its 50th anniversary at the 70s Race Day sponsored by SHRM. After spectacular racing on the penultimate day of the BVI Spring Regatta, it was time to party at the Carib Night with Humane Society and PAW, and DJ Wiz spinning the tunes with a 70s vibe at the Nanny Cay Regatta Village.
