Typhoon International launches new technical clothing collection

Typhoon International is launching a new technical clothing collection for the 2023 boating season.

Comprised of six unique and innovative garments, this exciting new collection is the result of Typhoon's seven decades of experience in technical marine apparel manufacture and design, coupled with a thorough understanding of the needs of watersports enthusiasts.

"Following the launch of our technical dinghy range in 2021, this new collection of high-performance clothing is a logical and natural progression for Typhoon," says Amy Grealish, marketing and communications manager at Typhoon International.

"Working with the latest fabrics and innovative production processes, and with performance and comfort at the heart of the design process, this new range provides sailors and powerboaters with multiple options for protection against the elements or during offshore voyages where conditions may be more challenging over extended periods of time."

Typhoon's new technical clothing collection includes:

TX-3+ Offshore Jacket

Ideal for ocean navigation and equally suitable for sailing, racing or powerboating, the TX-3+ Offshore Jacket is a waterproof and windproof highly technical jacket.

Manufactured from a high performance three-layer material with a durable water repellent (DWR) coating, the fully taped seam construction provides all weather protection.

Packed with innovative features, including a double cuff to reduce water influx, a fully adjustable high collar and an ergonomic hood and facemask, this jacket offers maximum protection from the elements. The fleece lined collar and side pockets provide additional comfort, and the outer and inner chest pockets provide storage for essentials.

The TX-3+ Offshore Jacket also has strategically placed reflective badges to increase visibility.

TX-3+ Offshore Hi-Fit

Designed to be worn alone or with the TX-3+ Offshore Jacket, the TX-3+ Offshore Hi-Fit is a waterproof and windproof, high performance and fully adjustable salopette. Made from a hard-wearing and breathable three-layer nylon material with a durable water repellent (DWR) coating and fully taped seam construction, the TX-3+ Offshore Hi-Fit offers enhanced exposure protection afloat.

The hi-fit has articulated knees for ease of movement and a full 'bib' back panel with front adjustable straps offers a more personalised fit, while the Cordura® reinforced panels on the seat and knee increase resilience and durability.

TX-3 Coast Jacket

The TX-3 Coast Jacket is ideal for coastal navigation and equally suitable for sailing or powerboating.

Crafted from a strong three-layer polyester material with a durable water repellent (DWR) coating and fully taped seam construction, the TX-3 Coast Jacket provides protection and performance when needed the most.

The jacket has been designed to offer superior levels of comfort via its articulated design, differential hem and fleece lined, high collar which is further enhanced by a pack away hood.

Designed to be worn with the TX-3 Coast Hi-Fit.

TX-3 Coast Hi-Fit

The TX-3 Coast Hi-Fit is a waterproof and windproof coastal salopette, which can be worn alone or with the TX-3 Coast Jacket.

Highly breathable and articulated, the TX-3 Coast Hi-Fit is constructed from the same three-layer material as the TX-3 Coast Jacket, benefiting from the same durable water repellent (DWR) coating and fully taped seam construction. This salopette has a full range of innovative features, including reinforcement panels, adjustable shoulder straps, elasticated waist and strategically placed pockets.

TX-T Softshell Jacket

A versatile product that can be worn on or off the boat, the TX-T Softshell Jacket can be worn by itself in clement conditions or as part of a layering system if the weather deteriorates.

This softshell jacket is made from a highly technical windproof and breathable TX-T thermal fabric with a durable water repellent (DWR) coating, offering superior level of stretch.

The TX-T Softshell Jacket is enhanced with a fleece lining for additional warmth and an accessible chest pocket, while the fit can be personalised via the fully adjustable cuff, hem and hood.

TX-1 Deck Shorts

Designed to offer exceptional freedom of movement, the TX-1 Deck Shorts are functional and durable.

The technical quick drying and breathable TX-1 fabric offers high levels of stretch, while the durable water repellent (DWR) coating keeps the wearer dry and comfortable. Other innovative features of the TX-1 Deck Shorts include an abrasion resistant seat, strategically placed forward angled cargo pockets and a deep waistband with belt loops.
