Oyster Yachts will once again be at the very heart of London Luxury Afloat, taking place at St. Katharine Docks from 18-22 April, described as the UK's most luxurious showcase for discerning buyers.

Set against the historic backdrop of Tower Bridge, in the centre of the City of London, the marina at St Katharine Docks offers the perfect location for Oyster to showcase four of its newest and most popular sailing yachts.

The star attraction for many will be a brand-new Oyster 495, which was recently awarded the accolade of European Yacht of the Year 2023. At 50-foot, it's the baby of the Oyster fleet, suited perfectly for couples to sail, yet with all the onboard features and technology for extensive bluewater sailing anywhere in the world. Dominating the waterfront, Oyster will be showcasing their three newest, luxury bluewater cruising yachts, the Oyster 495, 565 and 595.

Ashley Highfield, CEO of Oyster says: "We are delighted to be returning to the heart of the capital for London Luxury Afloat. The inaugural show in 2022 was a wonderful event and St Katharine Docks provided the perfect backdrop for the launch of our award-winning, luxury 50-foot bluewater cruiser, the Oyster 495. This year, we are delighted to return with the 495, alongside her bigger sisters, the 565 and 595, as we celebrate our 50th anniversary."

For those who want a unique insight into the background of the award-winning Oyster 495, Oyster has released a six-part film series that follows the creation, design and build of this British-built yacht, from its inception at the company's facilities in Southampton, through to its launch a year ago at London Luxury Afloat and finishing with Olympic medallist Shirley Robertson taking the Oyster 495 on an extended cruise from Genoa to Palma.

London Luxury Afloat is part of British Marine, which organises the highly successful Southampton Boat Show. St. Katharine Docks is Central London's only marina and is located approximately 40 nautical miles up the Thames River, adjacent to the Tower of London.

With many of London's most famous tourist attractions within close proximity, and with its vast array of bars and shops located alongside this thriving waterside community, St. Katharine Docks appeals to a diverse range of companies, affluent travellers and yacht owners, Londoners and visitors alike and the timing and location provides the showcase for Oyster's range of luxurious, take-you-anywhere, bluewater sailing yachts.
