Since he arrived on the IMOCA circuit in 2019, the Belgian skipper has had one thing on his mind: competing in the Vendée Globe!

Today, the 55-year-old skipper is close to his dream: the Belgian family company D'Ietern Group, listed on the stock exchange, has joined his project. Denis Van Weynberg's IMOCA will wear the company's colours for the next two years. A charity initiative will be added to this large-scale sponsorship action.

Nicolas D'Ieteren, Chairman of the D'Ieteren Group: "We were impressed and convinced by Denis' human and professional qualities. His courage, perseverance and entrepreneurial spirit echo the values of our Group. We are proud to be able to accompany him throughout this adventure and we look forward to sharing this exciting project with all our employees."

The sailor might become the first Belgian to complete a Vendée Globe!
