Parkstone Yacht Club has seen a healthy resurgence of interest in yacht racing in recent years. To build on this momentum and provide two days of racing in Poole Bay in a year between the biennial International Paint Regattas, the club is organising an open regatta for yachts over the two days following the coronation, on 7th and 8th May 2023.

Racing will be run from a committee boat, with Andrew (Mr Magnum) Pearce as PRO. The programme is to run five or six races for three classes: Class 1 IRC, Class 2 VPRS and Class 3 VPRS non-spinnaker. The prize-giving – with prizes from Quay West Chandlery – will be held at the club after racing on Monday.

Full details will be provided in the NoR, available on the Parkstone Yacht Club web site in early March.
