SailGP teams have been working together all day to assess the damage to the fleet and tech site at the KPMG Australia Sail Grand Prix | Sydney.

As the pictures show, there was damage sustained to the wing tents and across multiple boats. After our assessment of the situation this morning it has also been determined that no one sustained any serious injuries that we are aware of, in yesterday's incident.

We will have special programming today on our global broadcast from 1600 AEDT local time.

Tom Slingsby Australia SailGP Team driver & CEO:

"Sydney is an amazing spot for sailing and we thoroughly enjoyed the support of the home crowd yesterday - you do normally get nice windy conditions that make for an exciting racetrack and we certainly had that with racing yesterday.

"We are here assessing the damage to all of the boats and we are just trying to pack up and do the best assessment we can and come up with a plan moving on from here.

"Two events to go and mathematically we're still not quite guaranteed a spot in the Grand Final, but we're pretty close. We've got to see what happens with Christchurch but we're really gearing up for the San Francisco finale."
