As we gear up for the next sailing season, the 100th Bayview Mackinac is right around the corner. Mark your calendar for July 20, 2024. There has been long anticipation for the 100th race from many sailors near and far.

As a result, we will open pre-registration for the 100th Mackinac race on the official race website (www.bycmack.com) on Saturday, February 18, 2023. By pre-registering, you will be allowed to register for the race a week before the race registration is open to those who have not yet signed up.

Registration fees for the 2024 race will be charged when you register for the race in early October. The goal is to secure spots for those regular participants and attract new out-of-town boats. We expect a large fleet for the 2024 race, and dockage will be assigned in order of paid registration.

To pre-register, go to the official race website, www.bycmack.com:

If you have already registered for the 2023 race, log in to your account. On the landing page, at the bottom of the left column, you will find a button to click to pre-register.

If you plan on registering for the 2023 race but haven't yet, when you log in to your account, on the landing page, at the bottom of the left column, you will find a button to click to pre-register for the 2024 race.

If you don't plan on registering for the 2023 race but have participated before, log in to your account. On the landing page, which will say 2023 Mackinac Race, at the bottom of the left column, you will find a button to click to pre-register.

If you have a new boat to enter in the 2024 race or haven't participated before, please complete a Race Invitation Request, which can be found on the official race website under the Competitors tab, and the Registration header. There is a button at the bottom of the page to click on to pre-register for the 2024 100th Mackinac Race. After completing and submitting this form, a username and access code will be emailed to you to use when registering for the race in October.

The list of pre-registered boats will be shown on the official race website under the Competitors tab and the Entries header.

If you have issues accessing your boat record or the website, please contact Race Administrator Melissa Wenzler at .

In the meantime, we are working on helpful resources for new participants, and if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me at .

Looking forward to a great 100th race!
