by Andy Rice 15 Feb 2023 22:49 PST 18 February 2023

With 69 entries already down for the final event of the Seldén SailJuice Winter Series, and a number of boats in overall contention for the trophy, the Oxford Blue looks set for a warm and windy climax to the season...

The Seldén SailJuice Winter Series reaches its climax with the Oxford Blue this Saturday (18 February), and a warm and windy south-westerly beckons for the competitors from 31 (and counting...) different dinghy classes.

There's still time to enter the Oxford Blue, sign up below...

ENTER NOW: www.sailjuiceseries.com

Currently, 7 of the top 10 currently are entered, including the Osprey of Pete Gray & Geoff Edwards as well as Ollie Groves & Martin Penty's RS400, both of which have a good chance of outright victory in the absence of Ben Flower who is abroad on Olympic Laser campaigning duties.

Currently, four of the 2022/23 season event winners are entered:

  • Brass Monkey - RS400 - Ollie Groves & Martin Penty, Beaver SC
  • Grafham GP - Osprey - Pete Gray & Geoff Edwards, Staunton Harold SC
  • King George Gallop - Enterprise - Vincent Horey & Richard Abendstern, KGSC
  • Tiger Trophy - K1 - Simon Hawkes, Wimbleball SC

Craftinsure Top Class Rankings

Currently, five classes have three or more entries for Oxford Blue, so a great chance to move up the Craftinsure Top Class Rankings.

Currently there are 11 classes with 3 or more:

  • Enterprise
  • Merlin Rocket
  • Osprey
  • RS Aero 5
  • RS Aero 7
  • RS Vareo
  • RS200
  • RS600
  • RS800
  • Solo
  • Topper
The Oxford Blue is also the RS Aero Winter Championships, which is contributing to a good turnout from this singlehanded fleet.

Seldén sticker competition winners

Musto Skiff sailor Rob Richardson was the sticker winner at the Tiger. Rob wins an R60 ratchet block from the Seldén range, thanks to his photo taken by series photographer Tim Olin. Who will win the Seldén goodies at Oxford Blue? It could be you!

So... enter the Oxford Blue (the 9th and final event)
