Fresh for 2023 is a new range of Flush Mount Deck Plates from sailing equipment manufacturer Barton Marine. The Deck Plates are available with three different internal thread sizes (M8, M10 & M12) either with an included fixing eye, or without allowing you to add your own fixing.

Each Barton Deck Plate is turned from solid 316 grade stainless steel as one piece for maximum strength and then highly polished to provide an attractive finish when installed. The manufacturing technique enables the unique feature of a sealed internal thread, preventing water ingress under the hull.

As per their name, the Plates install virtually flush to the deck, minimizing trip hazards when not in use and the fixing is removed. A grub screw is included with each Plate to stop debris getting into the thread when a fixing is not installed.

With the removable fixing eye in place, a multitude of uses are possible including holding deck mounted boarding ladders, boat tie downs and stand-up blocks, as well as securing life rafts and diving tanks into position. The deck plates have a SWL of 2500kg when mounted through a solid deck, making them perfect for a huge variety of leisure and commercial uses.

Suzanne Blaustone, Barton Marine CEO said, "Our new Flush Mount Deck Plates are a great addition to the range and expand our offering for motorboats alongside sailing yachts. On top of this, some of our first orders have been with commercial ship builders and industrial accounts so beyond leisure marine, the multiple uses for the new deck plates is advantageous for our distributors."

Flush Mount Deck Plates are being shipped to distributors now and will be available from Barton stockists in the very near future. To find out more visit www.bartonmarine.com.
