FSG-Nobiskrug Holding has acquired the renowned German Wuerzburger Interieur Manufaktur GmbH (WIMA). The globally active manufacturer of interior fittings for superyachts employs 40 highly qualified staff. The purchase agreement has already become effective, Nobiskrug was introduced to the employees today.

The special strength of the Franconian-based interior manufactory lies in combining design with the highest quality and technical refinements to create a high-end interior. Expert workmanship where the most exquisite materials are concerned is as much a hallmark of the company as are enabling special functions and the integration of technical elements. One of the floating masterpieces of the recent past is the hybrid superyacht "Artefact", which received the globally coveted "Motor Yacht of the Year" award from Boat International in 2021. The Nobiskrug shipyard in Rendsburg was responsible for the engineering and construction of the "Artefact", and the collaboration with Wuerzburger Interieur Manufaktur formed the cornerstone for the success of the highly regarded shipbuilding project.

Philipp Maracke, CEO of FSG Nobiskrug Holding, says: "With this acquisition, we are strategically strengthening Nobiskrug in a crucial field for the superyacht industry."

"I chose Wuerzburger Interieur Manufaktur because they have been providing world-class joinery for many years. The experts from WIMA are able to master the interior fittings both of the ship's bridge and of the owner's salons in a quality that equals that of the most elegant private homes in the world," explains Lars Windhorst, founder and owner of Tennor Group. The Nobiskrug shipyard as well as the Flensburger Schiffbau-Gesellschaft belong to Tennor.

In the future, the Wuerzburger Interieur Manufaktur will continue to operate independently and thus continue to supply its other long-standing customers.
