The GWA Wingfoil World Tour expands once again for the 2023 event season. Expect the addition of new and exciting disciplines as well as new event locations, reflecting the rampant growth and diversification at the cutting edge of wingfoiling, matched by the drive and passion of the GWA Wingfoil World Tour team to help the sport thrive.

The tour kicks-off in exciting style on 3rd March at Tauranga, New Zealand; not only a new location, but also the first GWA event to be held in the southern hemisphere! This marks the start of a 13 event streak that climaxes with the Surf-Freestyle and Surf-Slalom World Championship titles being decided next December at the iconic location of Cape Town, South Africa.

In between those dates look out for the introduction of pure 'Wave' events in Cape Verde in March, Morocco in September and Brazil in August. 'Big Air' also makes its official discipline debut at one of the most renowned strong wind spots on the planet, Pozo, on Gran Canaria in July.

Get ready to send it! Click here to see all the event listings (though some event categories are yet to be updated - even the web elves are busy at this time of year!)

All that's left is for us to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. See you on the other side!

Catch up on the 2022 season climaxes.
