Since returning to Australian waters andoo Comanche has surprised many by her increased speed in lighter airs, staying in touch or ahead of the ‘skinny’ 100 footers in conditions that would previously have advantaged the latter.

So, what has changed? We spoke to andoo Comanche’s Sailing Master Iain Murray to get some insights into the crew mix and what they have learnt about lighter airs technique for a boat that was built to break records.
