Bough Beech Sailing Club welcomes visitors to its major event of the year: the Icicle Open Handicap Series.

This race series for monohull dinghies usually attracts a large entry of around 100 boats and will consist of 16 races over 9 Sundays between 8th January and 26th February 2023 (wind permitting).

Races will be run on the "average lap" format and organised in two fleets, one for asymmetric dinghies and one for the conventional boats.

Further to the success of the revised format last year, there will be 2 races back-to-back each Sunday with the start time being not before 11am. Depending on how many races are sailed, a number of discards will be allowed.

The Notice of Race can be found on the Bough Beech SC website.

Visitors to Bough Beech will need to enter and pay in advance via the Icicle Series Entry Form on the Bough Beech Sailing Club website.
