2022 International Moth World Championship at Yacht Club Argentino - Day 4

After no racing on the third day, the Rio de la Plata delivered and four successful races were held on the fourth day.

The first and second races were held in winds from the ESE, close to 9 knots. British sailor Dylan Fletcher Scott won the first race, while the second wan was won by the Italian sailor, Simone Salva.

For the third race the wind was in the ESE quadrant and was won by Richard Didham from USA.

For the fourth race the wind shifted to the east with an intensity of 13 knots. Dylan Fletcher ended the day on a high note, winning this last race.

After a superbly consistent day, Fletcher leads the standings with 7 points. He is followed by Simone Salva, 9 points behind the leaer. The podium is completed by Argentinan Massimo Contessi, tied on 16 points with Salva.

The Moth 2022 World Championship is organized by the Yacht Club Argentino at its headquarters in Dársena Norte between November 28th and December 4th. 39 boats from 9 countries are participating. Its sponsors are: Conservas Marechiare, Oh! Gift Card, Lowe Developers, Zhik, Unplastify, Maguire Boats, PSA, Garda Carbon Lab.
