Typhoon International has confirmed that it will be continuing its sponsorship of the 29er UK Class Association in 2023.

This will be the third consecutive year that the leading watersports clothing and equipment manufacturer has supported the class as Official Technical Clothing Class Sponsor.

"We're delighted to be able to support the sailors of 29er Class for another year," says Amy Grealish, Marketing Manager at Typhoon. "We produce an extensive range of clothing and equipment for dinghy sailors and we are very proud of our long-term partnership with the 29er association."

"It's a wonderful opportunity for us to give back to the sailing and watersports community."

As part of Typhoon's sponsorship in 2023, it will be providing prizes at the major events in 29er Class Association calendar.

Phil Lightbody, 29er UK Class Chairman, comments: "The fleet are delighted to be continuing their relationship with Typhoon, the sailors love the Typhoon product range and would like to thank Typhoon for their generous and ongoing support."

Started in 1998, the 29er class is one of the most highly competitive youth classes in the world with 40 plus teams competing in national and international events. The powerful dinghy is a stepping stone in pre-Olympic training for young athletes with medal potential.

The 29er UK National Championships will be held from 22-24 July 2023 at Weymouth & Portland National Sailing Academy, with many other regattas being held throughout the year at various locations around the UK.
