Global yacht charter companies Sunsail and The Moorings are celebrating after winning three 'Oscars of the travel industry' at the prestigious British Travel Awards 2022 this week.

Sunsail has taken home Gold for the Best Travel Company in the Sailing and Flotilla Holidays category and Bronze for the Best Travel Company in the Adventure Holidays Category.

Caroline Barbour, UK Marketing Manager for Sunsail and The Moorings comments, "To win three major awards is an outstanding way to celebrate the hard work and commitment of the teams who ensure our customers have a fantastic experience, whether they are first time sailors or experienced travellers looking for their next adventure. We are proud and honoured Sunsail has been recognised for its sailing and flotilla holidays with a Gold award, and for its adventure holiday offering with a Bronze award. "

The Moorings, which provides luxury on-the-water experiences, also scooped Bronze for the Best Travel Company in the Special Interest Holidays category.

Caroline adds, "We are thrilled The Moorings has won Bronze and been recognised as a top provider in special interest holidays. The awards are particularly special as they are voted for by our customers and we would like to take this opportunity to thank them for helping us achieve this accolade. We're looking forward to delivering another year of award-winning holidays in 2023!"

Since 2008 the British Travel Awards has been polling public opinion on leisure travel companies and is widely recognised as the benchmark for excellence in travel.
