VIC Sailing League is back on this summer, running at Festival of Sails at Royal Geelong Yacht Club, January 26/27, 2023.

Head-to-head, short course, one design racing is in store for this event with teams battling it out for one of the coveted 4 spots available for the SAILING Champions League - Asia Pacific (SCL:AP) Finals in May 2023.

This year the VIC Sailing League has been condensed down to one event with 2 days of jam-packed racing.

Event Director and Olympic Gold Medallist Mark Turnbull OAM said the racing is cut-throat and all to play for, which is so appealing to the sailors.

"Running the event at Geelong during Festival of Sails is the perfect canvas to create spectator-friendly sailing."

This event is the qualification event for the top teams from Victoria to then go onto compete against the top clubs from all over Asia Pacific at the SAILING Champions League: Asia Pacific - Final scheduled for May 2023.

This year's VIC Sailing League has 15 spots available for any clubs, large or small. Teams are consisted of 4 crew members, 2 men, 2 women and are divided into two categories, Under 22 and Open.
