2023 Youth World Championship selection procedures

US Sailing is excited to announce selection procedures for the 2023 Youth Sailing World Championship.
The USA qualification events to the 2023 Youth Sailing World Championships will be conducted with the following equipment:
- Boy's One Person Dinghy - ILCA 6
- Girl's One Person Dinghy - ILCA 6
- Mixed or Boys' Two Person Dinghy - i420
- Girls' Two Person Dinghy - i420
- Boys' Skiff - 29er
- Girls' Skiff - 29er
- Mixed Multihull - Nacra15
- Boy's Windsurfer - iQFOiL Youth
- Girl's Windsurfer - iQFOiL Youth
- Boy's Kites - Formula Kite
- Girl's Kites - Formula Kite
US Sailing's ISC will select one eligible prospective athlete in each of the single-handed classes and one team of two eligible prospective athletes for each of the double-handed classes to represent their country at the 52nd Youth Sailing World Championship expected to be held in December 2023 (exact event dates and location TBD).
The top eligible finisher in their class at the following event will earn selection:
- US Youth Championships | June 26-30, 2023 | US Sailing/RWU, Bristol, RI
If this regatta is a "non-event" as defined in the Notice of Race for that event, cancelled, or postponed, then the ISC will publish a revised selection procedures as soon as practicable.
