Melbourne's Classic Yacht Cup Regatta Day Two

Day Two of the CYAA Cup Regatta run by the Royal Yacht Club of Victoria was held under very different conditions from the preceding day, with very light breezes and sunshine. An early call to cancel tomorrow’s racing, due to the Gale warning, meant that Sunday would be the last day of racing.

The AP went up for a short time while we waited for the breeze to fill in. This happened slowly, and filled in during the day to around 10 knots, enabling the Race Committee to get both races in before heading back to the club for a BBQ in the sunshine.
