2022 iQFOiL World Championships at Brest, France - Overall

by iQFOiL Class 24 Oct 2022 14:55 AEDT 14-22 October 2022

Sebastian Koerdel and Marta Maggetti enden up taking the 2022 World Championships home.

A week where the gods of the weather threw everything at the 264 competitors over the course of the regatta, from light, fickle breezes to howling 50 knot storms. We went though all seasons on the year in just one week and the final day of the event wasn't any different, the wind kept us waiting until the very end but we managed to crown the World Champions:

Women

1. Marta Maggetti, Italy
2. Daniela Peleg, Israel
3. Maya Morris, Israel

Men

1. Sebastian Koerderl, Germany
2. Luuc Van Opzeeland, The Netherlands
3. Huig Jan Tak, The Netherlands

U21 Women

1. Daniela Peleg, Israel
2. Sharon Kantor, Israel
3. Theresa Steinlein, Germany

U21 Men

1. Max Castelein, The Netherlands
2. Johan Soe, Denmark
3. Gaspard Carfantan

Huge congratulations to all the winners. Thanks a lot to everyone who made this event possible.
