A legend in the sportfishing world, the Viking 80 continues to thrive as the most dominant large convertible on the tournament circuit.
With refinements and improvements constantly being added - everything from advanced propulsion systems to fresh interior design elements - the 80 stands out as a shining example of our mantra of building a better boat every day.
This 80 is currently representing our company as a demonstrator boat on the tournament circuit, led by captain Sean Dooley and his team. The Viking 80, shown below, moments before being loaded onto a container ship, is now on its way to the West Coast, ready to battle it out in several tournaments, including the Los Cabos Billfish Tournament (Oct. 16-20) and the Bisbee's Black & Blue (Oct. 25-29).
The 80 C offers flexibility for owners, with three different models - Open, Enclosed Bridge and Sky Bridge. The open can be built with a Palm Beach Towers tuna tower or as a hardtop boat. You have the same flexibility with the Enclosed Bridge model, which is offered with or without a tower. All variations of our 80 Convertible boast their own unique strengths and features that allow owners to live out their boating and fishing dreams in Viking style.
With nearly 50 delivered, the Viking 80 has established itself as a powerhouse of a sportfishing boat, with industry-leading design, performance and fishability. The yacht is also the cream of the crop when it comes to interior volume, accommodations and comfort, with five staterooms and the largest salon in its class.
