Barcolana - the international sailing regatta - is now on its 54th edition and will be held in Trieste (Italy) on October 9th.
As usual, the most crowded sailing race in the world will see the participation of four Tiliaventum inclusive teams.
Tiliaventum is an Italian sea sport no profit association based in Lignano Sabbiadoro (IT), an the initiative is part of the Sea4All project that Tiliaventum carries out continuously throughout the whole year, aimed at an inclusive participation to the sea sport activities (not only sailing, but also sup, kitesurf, wakeboard, diving, etc) of people with fragilities, physical and sensorial disabilities, without barriers, mental ed economic barriers too, the activities are free of charge.
At this year's edition, Tiliaventum will be present with Càpita - the performing and accessible daysailer on which you can board by the proper wheelchair and where everyone has a truly active role even during the regatta. Moreover, a stand will be set up at the Barcolana Village where you can find any info on the inclusive Sea4All programme and on the informational and formative activities carried out by the association that captures diversity as a resource and opportunity with satisfying social impacts.
