The weekend saw a fabulous start to the series, with sunshine, wind and competitive racing, smoothly run by our Race Officer Ethan Cheshire allowing us to complete eight races with sailors giving it their all. The racing was fair, fun, no protests made it to shore and the sailors were all very well-mannered on the water.

Saturday morning started with little wind, this soon built up ready for the racing to begin resulting in some white horses and big gusts making appearances through the racing. Four races down the sailors came ashore happy and smiling.

Sunday was another sunny day with the wind easing as the races went on. The sailors continued to sail fast, and determination was shown by all. The weekend was filled with a positive vibe which we can't wait to see at our next GP.

Jac Bailey and Ben Sinfield from Port Dinorwic Sailing club won by taking four bullets with them, a well deserved first place.

Thank you to our series sponsor Rooster for their support to the sailors through the series. Thanks also goes to Draycote Water Sailing Club for hosting the event efficiently and we look forward to coming back in the spring. Not to mention the volunteers and sailors for making the weekend a success, thank you all.
