The UK Nacra 15 Class couldn't have asked for better conditions to kick off our winter training programme, with 8 teams on Portland Harbour in 10-20 knots!

The weekend saw experienced teams recently returning from the Nacra 15 World Championships, as well as new teams. The class aim to provide focussed coaching with former UK Nacra 15 National Championship winners Theo Williams and Ben Harris taking on the Head Coach and Class Development Coach roles respectively.

Meanwhile sailors looking to join the class worked with Paul at Fluid Boat Services to get to grips with the Nacra 15, and all teams came together on Sunday afternoon to wrap up the camp with some fun racing.

It was great to see the full Nacra 15 pathway in action this weekend and we are excited for the winter ahead, and to welcome more new sailors into the class soon! The next event in the UK Nacra 15 National Series will be the UK Nacra 15 National Championships at Brightlingsea SC (1st/2nd October).

Check out the class website at www.nacra15.co.uk for all information about how to get involved!
