Onda unveils stylish Limo Tender for 88m Golden Yachts superyacht Project X

by Onda Tenders 25 Sep 2022 23:45 AEST

Ahead of her hotly anticipated debut at this year's Monaco Yacht Show, the tender for Golden Yachts' 88 metre Project X has been revealed by the Greek builders, Onda.

"We are so pleased to have been chosen to create the tender for this game-changing superyacht by Golden Yachts", comments George Riginos, CEO of the Athens-based Onda.

He continues: "We have already produced the limo tenders for two of Golden Yachts' flagship superyachts - 85 metre O'Ptasia in 2018 and 95 metre O'Pari in 2020 respectively, which they were delighted with, so it's brilliant to be able to continue this successful partnership for their latest build."

A luxurious and stylish limousine tender measuring 9,70 metres, the Limo X is constructed from lightweight and resilient vinylester GRP and carries the brand's signature wrap-around protective fender supplied by Fender Innovations in the Netherlands.

With the resulting vessel marrying together performance and contemporary style, her eye-catching exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Onda's long-term collaborators, the Mannerfelt Design Team in Sweden, with her engineering taken care of by Onda's team of in-house experts.

Notably, as an entirely custom build, the Limo X has been designed to seamlessly match the appearance of her 88 metre mothership, as is most notable from the prominent 'X' logo which can be found on the windows of both vessels.

Thanks to her generous beam of 2,90 metre, the Limo X is able to house as many as 12 guests on board. Performance-wise, the Limo X also leaves nothing to be desired, with an impressive top speed of 46 knots (power is provided by her 2x220hp Volvo Penta D3 engines with Joystick) as well as demonstrating excellent fuel efficiency for a limo tender.

Offering far more than just a means of getting from A-Z, the Limo X has been carefully designed to deliver the ultimate onboard experience for her guests, as Riginos explains: "Thanks to our deliberate investment in additional sound insulation for the whole cabin, our guests benefit from a very smooth and quiet feeling when they are on board. Even though you might be travelling at some speed, it is a highly calming and peaceful experience."

Onda serves the superyacht tender market with fully customized solutions to guarantee that both the owner's and crew's requirements and expectations are fully met. To discover more about the full range of boats on offer or to get in touch with the company today, visit their website.
