Today was the first day of racing for the Women/Youth/Grand Masters and Great Grand Masters.
Today we saw another day of perfect sailing conditions. The onshore thermal came right on time and sailors were called off the beach at 12:15. Four races were completed over two sessions today. The first session was Women, Youth and Great Grand Masters. The second session was Grand Masters and Youth. Sailors rotate through the boats in these sessions.
The waves were noticeably friendlier than yesterday but still nice rolling waves. The breeze slowly built through the afternoon but stayed in the 10-14 range, providing some ideal sailing conditions. It was one of those days were everyone comes in smiling and commenting on how much fun that was. Word on the beach is that it was the best day of sailing yet!
Racing in this division continues through September 21.
