The Grundig Open Nordic Championship was sailed in Mariehamn, Finland from the 11th to 14th of August with an excellent turnout of thirty-two teams from Finland, Norway, Sweden, Austria, and Denmark.

There were three races on Saturday and three more races on Sunday in what were tough sailing conditions. A lot of wind and waves built throughout the length of Mysingen Bay!

Winds were gusting into the 25 kts range on the last day. For the experienced crews, it was fantastic sailing conditions, with all boats sailing high and fast in planing mode and speeds of 20+ kts were not unusual!

Reveling in the conditions were Johannes Lindh and Jonas Kjellberg sailing their SWE 1088 INTERMEZZO, reclaiming the title for the second year in a row. Second went to Marcus Ronnberg's ALANDIA just three points back and rounding out the podium was Patrik Forsgren's TEAM PRO4U.
