Top sailing photographer Gilles Martin-Raget was shoreside in Saint-Tropez for the Practice session ahead of this weekend's SailGP regatta, the fifth regatta of Season 3.

There is no doubt that the intensity of the event has heightened over this third season, with the injection of new teams, and with other teams being able to make SailGP their primary focus, free of other distractions such as the America's Cup and Olympic Regatta.

On Friday the SailGP fleet had practice racing in fresh winds, similar conditions to that expected for the first day of racing on Saturday. Sunday is forecast to be quite the opposite.

Ahead of the Range Rover France Sail Grand Prix, host Lisa Darmanin makes the rounds to find out what's been going on behind the scenes and what to expect for this weekend's racing.
