Mirabaud Yacht Racing Image submission closes on October 9

The Mirabaud Yacht Racing Image award 2022 is open and the submission of images will close in one month.

2022 marks the 13th edition of the Mirabaud Yacht Racing Image award.

The contest is open to professional photographers.

The subject of the contest is boat racing in al its forms, from classic yachts to top-end racers, including multihulls, dinghies, windsurf and kitesurfing.

Submissions will be assessed by an international jury consisting of Jonquil Hackenberg (UK), David Graham (UK), Meg Reilly (USA), Nicolas Mirabaud (SUI), Loïc Venance (FRA) and Brice Lechevallier (SUI).

The top 20 pictures will be exhibited at World Sailing's annual conference in Abu Dhabi (October 22-29) and at the Yacht Racing Forum.

The winners will be celebrated on November 21 during the Yacht Racing Forum in Malta, in front of the sports' leading personalities from all over the world.

They will share prize money and gifts.

The public will be invited to vote from October 14 to November 15. There's a new, more equitable system in place and voting doesn't take place through Facebook anymore.
