Cannes Yachting Festival 2022 : The top 12 world premieres

For the past 45 years, the Cannes Yachting Festival, Europe's largest in-water fair, has been the setting for numerous world premieres presented by the most renowned boat builders.

From 6 to 11 September, boat builders will be exhibiting the best of the international motor, sailing, monohull or multihull, hard or semi-rigid boat offer from one end of the Croisette to the other. One hundred and forty world premieres will be unveiled at the 2022 edition, representing more than 20% of the boats exhibited.

The lists of exhibitors and premieres are available on the Yachting Festival website.

Here is a selection of these premieres:

Jeanneau - Merry Fisher 1295 Fly
Localisation: stands QML309, QML016, QML167 l Measurements: LOA 12.56 m, beam 4 m l Built in France

Let's start with the Jeanneau stand on the quay to the left of the entrance to discover the Merry Fisher 1295 Fly, a 40-foot outboard motorboat whose quality is visible right down to the smallest detail. This model is perfectly designed for unforgettable family sailing experiences. Jeanneau is a pioneer in this outboard flybridge boat segment and here affirms its leadership position with this major new product.

Sirena Yachts - Sirena 78
Localisation: stands QML056, QML205 l Measurements: LOA 23.90 m, beam 6.50 m l Built in the US

And further on, before arriving at the crossing, still on the quai Max Laubeuf, visitors will be able to admire the Sirena 78, a new intermediate model in the Sirena Yachts range. This monohull is designed to be a versatile cruising yacht that excels both as a leisure boat and on long-distance voyages. The yacht also stands out for its unique interior and exterior design options, and in particular for the possibility of offering two saloons, as chosen by the owner.

Baglietto - 10236
Localisation: stands SYE233, SYE018 l Measurements: LOA 41.70 m, beam 8.70 m l Built in Italy

On the SYE side, the Italian boatyard Baglietto will, for the first time, present the long-awaited 10236, a spacious 41.70 metre superyacht, to the public. Like the other projects in Baglietto's V line, this model has been designed by Francesco Paszkowski. Made of aluminium, the 10236 is an all-new fast displacement platform, allowing it to reach a maximum speed of 28 knots. With a generous beam of 8.70m, this model can accommodate a dozen of passengers in comfort and elegance.

De Antonio Yachts - D50 Coupé
Localisation: stand SYE007 l Measurements: LOA 14.90 m, beam 4.40 m l Built in Spain

De Antonio Yachts will for its part present the world premiere of the new D50 Coupé. This open cruiser represents a real step forward in the 50-foot range. The D50 Coupé combines the best features of its range and enhances the on-board experience by incorporating a cabin superstructure and increased comfort and safety on deck.

Van Der Valk - Lady Lene
Localisation: stand SYE012 l Measurements: LOA 34 m, beam 8 m l Built in the Netherlands

Also on the SYE side, Lady Lene completes the Explorer fleet at Van der Valk. This 34-metre custom-built explorer combines a spirit of adventure with exceptional standards of comfort. Winner of a prestigious judges' award at the 2022 World Superyacht Awards, Lady Lene's fast displacement hull, wave-piercing bow and Hull Vane transom wing offer superb performance and fuel economy. The elegant exterior lines blend perfectly with a striking interior by Carla Guilhem in a boat designed and built to travel in style.

Lekker Boats - Lekker 44
Localisation: stand QSP002 l Measurements: LOA 12.70 m, beam 4.55 m l Built in Italy

In front of the Palais des Festivals, on the quai Saint Pierre, LEKKER Boats is expanding its fleet with a brand new model: the LEKKER 44. This speedboat is perfect for multi-day adventures, whatever the weather conditions. Kitted out with three powerful engines, it reaches speeds of over 50 knots (92 km/h). A perfect vessel for all skippers who have a thirst for adrenaline, a good sense of design and a weakness for comfort.

SACS Tecnorib - Pirelli 50
Localisation: stand PAN069 l Measurements: LOA 15.75 m, beam 4.7 m l Built in Italy

The new flagship of TecnoRib's Walkaround line will make its world debut in Cannes. The PIRELLI 50 is a 15-metre walkaround designed to combine sophisticated design with high performance. Designed by the Italian boatyard in collaboration with the Mannerfelt Design studio as a multipurpose vessel, it is intended for everyday use, as a tender for superyachts or mid-range cruises.

Fiart Mare Spa - P54
Localisation: stands PAN083, PAN215 l Measurements: LOA 16.65 m, beam 5.1 m l Built in Italy

Volume, large spaces and functionality are the three values on which the P54 by FIART MARE SPA are founded. This new model is inspired by superyachts and offers a surface area equivalent to that of a 60-foot boat. The exterior spaces are well protected from view by high bulwarks and give passengers the luxury of privacy.

Sanlorenzo Spa - SP110
Localisation: stands JETEE004, JETEE144 l Measurements: LOA 33.04 m, beam 8.2 m l Built in Italy

The Jetée (Jetty) will be the venue for the presentation of the first model of the brand new Sanlorenzo open series, the SP110. This model offers the highest performance with the lowest consumption. The jet propulsion ensures optimum efficiency and comfort in every speed range and the solar panels generate clean energy for life on board. A new generation of yachts is born.

Ice Yacht - ICE 70
Localisation: stands SAIL032, SAIL175 l Measurements: LOA 21.30 m, beam 5.71 m l Built in Italy

Finally, in the Espace Voile (Sailing Area), visitors can discover the ICE 70, a yacht that combines high fashion and high performance. This yacht is the new ambassador of a prestigious lineage. While no two ICEs are identical, the latest addition to the range has all the DNA of the others, and even takes advantage of its generous dimensions to enhance it. The tone is set even before you step aboard, combining performance and elegance in a very intelligent way. Every feature, every piece of equipment installed, whether technical or comfort, and every detail of the finish, will only confirm this first impression.

Nautor's Swan - Swan 55
Localisation: stands SAIL183, SAIL037 l Measurements: LOA 17.75 m, beam 5 m l Built in Finland

The Swan 55 from Nautor's Swan boatyard, a true heritage of the 1970s model, will also be on display in the Espace Voile. This yacht marks the beginning of a new history for this impressive model, which has inspired designers such as Sparkman & Stephens. The new model represents a fresh generation of hull design developed over the last two years by Nautor's Swan and is suitable for all enthusiasts, thanks to the brand's styles and standards.

Fountaine Pajot Sailing - Aura 51
Localisation: stands SAIL101, SAIL003 l Measurements: LOA 15.91 m, beam 8.08 m l Built in France

As for the French boatyard Fountaine Pajot, it will unveil the Aura 51 catamaran, which marks a new stage in the evolution of the Fountaine Pajot Sailing Catamarans range. It illustrates the desire of the yard in La Rochelle to go further in its environmental approach, thanks to its large surface of solar panels, capable of producing 2000 watts of renewable energy. This new model will set sail for sustainable and comfortable yet thrilling cruises!

All these premieres and many more will be waiting to be discovered from 6 September to 11 September 2022 in the exceptional setting of Cannes during the Yachting Festival, the inaugural event of the nautical season and the largest in-water show in Europe.
