Great Britain Sail Grand Prix | Plymouth highlights video

The third event of Season 3 ended with New Zealand claiming its first ever win during a weekend of masterful racing on the iconic waters of Plymouth Sound.

Two days of close-to-shore racing saw tides, currents and changeable conditions challenge crews and transform the racecourse into a game of snakes and ladders. Peter Burling's Kiwis dominated fleet racing before storming to victory in the three team winner-takes-all Final, beating Denmark and Australia to end Tom Slingbsy's five-event winning streak.

The weekend was also packed with plenty of other drama. Canada strategist Isabella Bertold slipped overboard, Australia suffered a broken rudder, and the Duchess of Cambridge helped Great Britain to victory in the Commonwealth Race vs New Zealand.
