After two years of uncertainty there is no doubt that this year the sailing season is well under way. It's been a very busy and exciting summer so far with a huge range of events filling the calendar to bursting point. And what a variety we've had already.

From a race into unknown territory for the IMOCA 60s, to the launch of a radical new design for one of the biggest offshore rockstars in the scene. Plus, we've seen the ProSailing Tour demonstrate why it could be the next hottest thing offshore.

There have been world championships aplenty too, the TP52s in Portugal, the 6metres in Switzerland and three impressive ClubSwan fleets in Spain to name just a few.

We talk to PlanetSail regular and round the world multiple record holder Dee Caffari about her path to the big event of her season with her sailing partner, double Olympic Gold medalist Shirley Robertson about their path to the Round Britain and Ireland Race.

And then we take a look at an innovative and inspirational project that strikes at the heart of both leading edge foiling and the quest to show the way towards a greener future for our sport.

All this crammed into an episode that is exploding at the seams... It's been a hell of a start to summer!
