The sailing week "Rodos Cup 2022" started with the best conditions.
The planned route from Kos, with destination Palos in Nisyros, started with low wind 2-3 Beaufort, in the first five miles of the route, which gradually increased to 5-6 Beaufort, until the finish. Thus, the crews faced thrilling racing conditions before tying up safely in the port of Palos. As the sailing part for the day finished early, they had the opportunity to enjoy the beauties of the island of Nisyros, as well as a small welcome party, organized by the Municipality and the cultural club of the island.
In the IMS1 category, the BLUE SHARK came first.
In the IMS2 category, first place went to MOUSMOULO
In the IRC1 category, the first place went to MATRAK2
In the IRC2 category, first place went to HOT PANTS 3
In the Cruising1 category, first place went to PANDEA
In the Cruising2 category, first place went to RITIO
During the second scheduled race from the island of Nisyros to the island of Tilos the crews participating in the "Rodos Cup 2022" had another intense sailing experience.
The race started again with low wind, 2-3 Beaufort, with a compulsory turn to a point to upwind, which soon increased to over 5 Beaufort.
The boats were safely moored in the hospitable port of Livadia, having the rest of the day as well as the following day free of sailing, so that the crews can relax and enjoy the all that the island of Tilos has to offer.
In the IMS1 category, SUGAR came first.
In the IMS2 category, first place went to MOUSMOULO
In the IRC1 category, first place went to MATRAK2
In the IRC2 category, first place went to VEDICERILER
In the Cruising1 category, first place went to KIA ORA
