What a week! About 75 hours spent on the boat since the last post, and there is quite a list of accomplishments.

Luckily this was a good excuse to ignore both the football and Wimbledon:

  • Pushrod tube fitted
  • King post fitted
  • Foil case trimmed and fitted
  • Bulkhead cardboard templates made and transferred to carbon foam sandwich sheets
  • Bulkheads cut and glued into place
  • Every joint carbon-taped to help hold it together
  • Wings fitted
  • Outer wing bars made and fitted
  • Wing foam shaped and glued into place
  • Carbon layers added
  • I even got around to building a gantry (not finished), prodder, and trolley cradles.
There is still some reinforcing to do, but the hull is almost complete!
