The UK Cadet Class is delighted to announce that youcantalk.net is sponsoring the 2022 Cadet UK Nationals and European Championships.

Youcantalk.net is a mental health and wellbeing organisation that provides tailored support to adults of all ages, including therapy, coaching, celebrancy, legacy and writing services. Kerry Miller, psychotherapist of youcantalk.net, said "Our approach is tailored to each individual's circumstance, we can help you to celebrate in the best of times and support you through the worst of times".

David Little, UK Cadet Class committee member, said "We are delighted to be partnering with youcantalk.net for this event. We have seen the benefits that sailing brings to young people - independence, responsibility, competition, and resilience. Youcantalk.net provides a fantastic layer of mental health and wellbeing provision that complements this superbly, giving people a way to understand themselves better."

From beginner to aspiring Olympian, the Cadet is the world's most successful two-person race training dinghy, specifically tailored towards children and young people. Originally designed by legendary British designer Jack Holt in 1947, there are now more than 10,000 Cadets sailed in over 40 countries. Cadet sailors have represented the UK at the Olympics and America's Cup, and achieve success worldwide.

The Cadet UK National Championship runs from Saturday 23 July to Friday 29 July, and the European Championships from Saturday 30 July to Friday 6 August. Both events are hosted by the Royal Torbay Yacht Club.
